Arya is committed to applying the skills gained from his previous career whilst immersing himself in the gemstone industry & acquiring the most advanced knowledge. He studied at Gübelin in Switzerland & was awarded the prestigious “Gübelin Coloured Gem Professional Diploma”. He now continues specialist training at the world's most prestigious gemmological institutions.

Before founding Mayfair Gems, Arya had a 23-year career in the oil industry working for a single large multinational. He specialised in jet fuel and was proud to work within an expert team running one of the world’s largest suppliers.

He held many senior management roles with career highlights including implementing quality management systems across the entire global business and designing a groundbreaking platform facilitating the sale of aviation fuel online (that is now in use around the world).

Arya holds a professional qualification as an ISO9001 Lead Auditor, multiple certifications relating to design, web & database development and a BSc in Business Management. He is an experienced investor in the financial and luxury asset markets and also retains a non-executive role within his family's law firm.
